Sobre a Afrolhar Social

A Afrolhar Social é uma Organização Social de liderança negra, dedicada a identificar situações de vulnerabilidade em favelas, periferias e territórios tradicionais — sempre pautada em um olhar afro autêntico. Utilizamos fotojornalismo participativo (photovoice) e pesquisas de campo, realizadas por adolescentes e adultos afrodescendentes da comunidade e da nossa diretoria. Nosso propósito é transformar realidades por meio de narrativas visuais que respeitam a cultura, a memória e a ancestralidade negra.

Objetivos Principais

  1. Mapear vulnerabilidades — moradia, educação, saúde, trabalho — com registro fotográfico e pesquisa.

  2. Subsidiar ações sociais — utilizando os diagnósticos para elaborarmos projetos junto ao poder público, empresas e voluntários.
